Polishing latex with wipe cloth
For the perfect shine: polish latex with Wipe cloth
Latex is known for its unmistakable shine, which causes enthusiasm among lovers of this special fashion form. But what is the best way to get this magical shine?
The answer is surprisingly simple: with the right special cloth. With the right latex polish and a latex polishing cloth specially developed by beGLOSS, your latex will also get a magical high gloss that looks moist, but is absolutely dry and does not stick. Even your hair stays dry. Even better, your latex clothes can be worn in fashion mix, which is exactly why beGLOSS was presented at LA Fashion WEEK.
The designers, photographers & models love it when there is the right result on set. In this tutorial we will tell you how to give your latex outfit the ultimate high shine with the help of our cloth. Get ready to make your latex ensemble shine in all its glory.
1
Always wash your latex clothes with a high quality latex detergent before polishing and let the clothes dry.
The latex dries in a few minutes. It is essential, the latex must be washed before. (for more info see: Tutorial: Washing latex)
2
Your latex must be free of dust and dirt and other residues, otherwise it will scratch.
Note:
If you do not wash the latex clothing beforehand, the dust and dirt will be mixed with the latex polish and your latex will be greasy/sticky and not shiny.
You also need considerably more care polish, the polishing process also takes longer.
3
Never spray the latex polish directly onto the latex!
(The spray mist spreads directly on the floor - extreme slip & accident risk)
Always spray the latex care polish onto the black polishing side of the latex wipe cloth and work it into the latex clothing.
Note:
If you spray the polish directly onto the latex, you will use many times more of the polish.
4
Once the black side of the cloth is sprayed, the black side is used to spread the polish on the latex.
Then use the pink side of the Latex Wipe cloth to rub the garment dry & seal it. Done! Latex polishing with Wipe cloth can be so easy.
5
If the side of the latex wipe cloth is too wet to dry, please wash and dry beforehand.
The perfect result for latex polishing with wipe cloth:
If you have prepared everything correctly, your latex clothing will now have an extreme shine that is dry and not sticky or greasy.
You can wear your latex clothing in fashion mix with normal everyday clothing. Your hair can no longer stick in the latex polish.
The wrong result:
If streaks or stripes appear now, your latex clothing was not sufficiently well washed & prepared.
Repeat the process and wash your latex thoroughly with latex detergent beforehand.
Notes on the application
General
Immediately after the polishing process, the latex clothing is no longer sticky. What remains is the perfect latex high-gloss effect.
Unique to our product is that the hair no longer sticks to the latex and no polish residue remains on other textiles or other objects.
This opens up completely new possibilities! Combine the latex clothing also with other fashion items. The latex high gloss also lasts extremely long and has an antistatic effect.
Warning
- Never apply Latex Shine polishes directly to the latex. You will use considerably more polish and the spray mist will sink to the floor. Afterwards, there is a risk of slipping (risk of accident). Please spray the polish only into the wipe cloth.
- Do not use cheap cloths! These lint, soak up quickly and can scratch the latex. The latex remains greasy and sticky.
- With conventional wipes you need considerably more latex polish. Our high quality wipe cloth is reusable, washable and therefore environmentally friendly.
